Cultured stone is a cast, lightweight veneer that reproduces the look of natural stone. It is fixed to the wall with tile adhesive and grouted like natural stone, so it suits façades, feature walls, fireplaces, hotels, restaurants, cafés and garden walls. VDA supplies it directly from Turkish producers.

Why manufactured stone
According to the producer, cultured stone weighs about one third to one half as much as natural stone of the same look, which lowers the load on the wall and the freight per m². The producer also states that the stone is water resistant and helps with sound and heat insulation. Performance depends on the product and the substrate, so ask us for the test reports your project needs.

Questions buyers ask
Can cultured stone be used outside?
Yes. The producer offers it for both interior and exterior walls. For exterior use, tell us the climate and the substrate so we can confirm the right adhesive and the test reports.
How is it installed?
It is fixed with tile adhesive to a clean, sound surface such as plaster, concrete or cement board, then the joints are filled with grout. A local tiler can install it.
Can I get samples?
Yes, samples of the patterns and colours you shortlist can be sent before the order. Tell us the patterns and the delivery address.
