What is a compact batching plant?

A compact concrete batching plant is a stationary plant built from pre-assembled modules sized for standard shipping containers. Mixer, weighing hoppers, aggregate bins and control cabin arrive largely wired and piped, so site work is reduced to a light foundation, bolting and connection. The plant can later be dismantled and moved to another site.

It is a good fit for buyers in Africa and the Middle East who want the output of a fixed plant without paying for out-of-gauge transport.

Configured to the project

  • Capacity: 60, 100, 120, 160 or 200 m³/h of compacted concrete.
  • Larger mixer option: 2.25 m³ and 3.33 m³ mixers raise output for a modest cost increase.
  • Aggregate storage: up to 12 aggregate bins, with optional waiting hoppers that shorten the cycle.
  • Dry or wet: wet mix for ready-mix and precast, or dry mix loading for truck mixers.
  • Climate: cladding and heating for cold regions; chilled water or ice dosing for hot regions.

Compact, mobile or classic stationary?

Choose a compact plant for a long project or a permanent site where container shipping matters. Choose a mobile plant when the plant moves every few months. Choose a classic stationary plant for very large silos and two-mixer layouts.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

How is a compact batching plant shipped?

The main modules are pre-mounted to fit standard shipping containers. Silos and long conveyors may travel on flat-rack or open-top containers. The manufacturer provides a packing list with the offer.

What foundation does it need?

A light concrete foundation designed to the manufacturer's load drawing. It is much simpler than the foundation of a classic stationary plant.

Can it produce dry concrete for truck mixers?

Yes. Compact plants can be configured as wet mix, dry mix or both.

What do you need for an offer?

Required output in m³/h, concrete types, number of aggregate sizes, cement silo capacity, climate and the delivery country.
