What the screen does
Vibrating screens separate crushed stone and gravel into product sizes and return oversize to the crushers. In a crushing plant the screen often decides the real output, so its size must match the feed and the cut sizes you sell.
Design points
- Eccentric shaft drive with steady, strong vibration.
- 2, 3 or 4 decks with quick access to the screen media.
- Adjustable incline from 15 to 20° to tune capacity and accuracy.
- Hot-rolled side plates, high-strength cross beams and replaceable liners on chutes.
- Wire, polyurethane or rubber screen media; reinforced top deck for abrasive feed.
Washing screen version
With spray bars above each deck and an optional wash box at the feed point, the same screen washes and sizes in one step. It removes silt, clay coatings and light debris from aggregate. See also our sand and aggregate washing equipment.

How many decks do I need?
One less than the number of products you take from the screen. Three products need a two-deck screen; four products need three decks.
