Stationary Crushing & Screening Plant
Fixed plants for quarries, mines and aggregate production, scaling from about 100 tph to over 1,000 tph, with the lowest operating cost per tonne at high volumes.
- Capacity
- About 100 to over 1,000 tph
- Typical use
- Quarries, mining, aggregate production
- Power
- Grid power
- Site
- Permanent, on foundations
A stationary crushing and screening plant is installed on foundations at a permanent site. It reduces rock and gravel to the required sizes and separates them into fractions for concrete, asphalt and road base.
For permanent, high-capacity operations, stationary plants usually have a lower total installed cost per tonne than mobile plants: grid power instead of diesel, less wear from moving, and higher annual use.

Typical plant components
Jaw crusher
Primary crushing of large feed material.
Cone crusher
Secondary and tertiary crushing to finer, cubical products.
Impact crusher
Crushing for good particle shape, often for softer rock.
Vibrating screens
Separate crushed material into the required fractions.
Feeders
Deliver a steady feed to the primary crusher.
Conveyor belt systems
Move material between crushers, screens and stockpiles.
